Playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 without Juggernaut smashing through the Civil War or Carnage shredding through nanite swarms is a hollow experience. The characters are balanced, the voice acting is authentic (Steve Blum as Deadpool? Yes, please), and the fusion moves are spectacular.
In the late 2000s, downloadable content was a new frontier. Activision released several character packs for MUA2 , but licensing rights expired years ago. Today, you cannot buy them on the PlayStation Store. The official store pages return errors. The servers are cold.

With a little patience, a USB stick, and a jailbroken PS3 (or RPCS3), you can restore this lost content. The "new" files are out there—fresh dumps waiting to be installed.
The search for is not just about downloading a file. It is about preserving a piece of Marvel gaming history before the PS3 digital store fully shuts down (Sony walked back the shutdown in 2021, but the store remains on life support).
But the PKG files still exist.
Go find the PKG. Install the RAP. Unlock Carnage. Save the Marvel Universe the right way. Have you successfully installed the MUA2 PS3 DLC lately? Found a "new" package that worked? Discuss in the preservation forums. Long live the PS3.
