You bought a used phone without a receipt, you live in a country without an Apple Store, or you cannot prove the phone is yours. However, you must set realistic expectations
Open the software and choose the "Screen Unlock" module. Select whether you are unlocking iOS or Android. But you will regain a $500+ device
Download the official version from the developer's website. Avoid "cracked" versions found on torrent sites (more on that in safety below).
Click "Start Unlock". The software will flash the firmware and erase the passcode file. The phone will reboot.
Use a USB cable to connect your locked phone to the computer. If your phone asks you to "Trust This Computer" (on iOS), you are stuck if you can't unlock it. In this case, you must put the phone into Recovery or DFU mode manually using the hardware buttons (Volume Up/Down + Side button).
